Use your holiday shopping to help feed children, elderly, homeless, and working poor families in our area. Books-a-Million in North Little Rock will host a fundraiser bookfair benefitting Potluck Food Rescue, December 12. A portion of all purchases made from 12 noon to 8 pm at the Potluck designated register will go to further Potluck’s efforts to rescue and distribute good food from local restaurants, supply companies, and more (that would have otherwise been discarded) to feed area children, elderly, working poor, and homeless who are hungry or food-insecure. Potluck rescues over 4 million pounds of food each year to feed some 7,500 people in our area per week.
