Cinco de Mayo Fiesta for a Cause will be held at Backacher's Ranch in Conway. It is an important fundraising event for us and all money raised goes toward matching children with Big Brothers and Sisters who can help them reach their full potential. Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Central Arkansas is an affiliate of the national organization, Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, which has been providing one-to-one mentoring services to youth for 100 years. Research has shown that our program has a profound impact on the children we serve. Youth enrolled in the program are: 46% less likely to begin using illegal drugs
27% less likely to use alcohol
33% less likely to hit someone
More confident in their performance in school
More likely to have higher quality relationships with their parents and peers
