The speaker for January 22nd is Dr. William L. Shea, a history professor at the University of Arkansas at Monticello and the author or co-author of numerous Civil War books and articles, most related to the conflict in the Trans-Mississippi theater. His presentation is titled: Samuel Curtis - The Man Who Conquered Arkansas.
Founded March 1964, the Civil War Roundtable of Arkansas meets the Fourth Tuesday each month January - November at 7:00 P.M. We are located at the Second Presbyterian Church - 600 Pleasant Valley Drive in Little Rock, Arkansas.
