To Kill a Mockingbird at The Rep
To Kill a Mockingbird at The Rep

Date: Feb. 03, 2012
Start Time: 8:00 PM

To Kill A Mockingbird By Christopher Sergel Based on the novel by Harper Lee January 25, 2012 - February 12, 2012 Winner of the 1961 Pulitzer Prize Experience Southern storytelling at its best with one of the most enduring stories of our time, and one of the most popular productions in The Rep’s history. “This is a truth that applies to the human race, and to no particular race of men.” - Harper Lee As this compelling story is told through the eyes of Scout, the tomboyish young daughter of small-town lawyer Atticus Finch, it becomes clear that To Kill a Mockingbird is a love story: a father’s love for his children, their love for him, and a love for the South. This timeless classic compels us to take an honest look at our nation’s past and our moral responsibility to each other. The fundamental lessons of compassion, justice, integrity and courage are significant and still powerfully relevant today, making this play a must for every new generation.
